Raids in LA, Resistance in Houston
Show up TODAY 4 PM @ Ervan Chew Park. Defend due process. Defend dignity.
Over the past two days, ICE raids across Los Angeles have led to the arrest of over 100 people and the use of tear gas, flash-bangs, and batons against protesters. This Saturday June 7th, Trump deployed 2,000 National Guard troops to LA in response.
This is part of a coordinated attack on our democratic rights and freedoms: raids, indiscriminate detentions, and militarized force aimed at silencing dissent.
Houston is not staying silent.
We're taking to the streets to show our opposition of ICE infiltrating and terrorizing our communities, the dismantling of due process, and the use of the National Guard to suppress peaceful protest or silence communities exercising their constitutional rights.
Please join us in exercising our first amendment rights and supporting the dignity of all people in a peaceful protest today at Ervan Chew Park.
When: Sunday, June 8 at 4:00 PM
Where: Ervan Chew Park – 4502 Dunlavy St, Houston, TX 77006
